Third part in the story of a Hong Kong -based hitgirl. I like doing these short comics to used papers. It's not meant to diminish the value of these drawings but sometimes a poor artist must do what a poor artist must do. Besides, it's fun to cover up the failed doodles with new drawings! Every panel in this is done on such a paper, you have no idea what's hidden beneath those thick layers of oil pastels!

Forbidden Siren archives #3: Village of the damned

Third in the series of PS2 horror game Forbidden Siren inspired fan comics I drew between 2004 and 2007. "Village of the damned" takes place between "Accidental tourist" and "Little shop of horrors". I drew this in 2007 but didn't finish it back then. I colored the comic only recently but unlike the precious episodes seen here, the coloring was done by hand. I scanned the pencil artwork, turned them into more black & white and printed out for coloring, and scanned the finished pages back to the computer and added hand-written lettering. I didn't do my homework properly though as I didn't refer to earlier comics for the girls' clothes (you see, I did the coloring before I dug out the previous episodes from the archives). I thought I remembered the colors!

Forbidden Siren archives #2: Little shop of horros

Second in the series of PS2 horror game Forbidden Siren inspired fan comics I drew between 2004 and 2007. This one is from 2004. But what has happened? Why is Kasumi on a slab, why she's missing a tooth and where are she and Milla anyway? Simple reason for this is because Siren's chapters didn't play out in a chronological manner and when I published these fan comics in a webpage of mine back then I followed the similar approach. So the next chapter after this you will see here will take place between Accidental tourist and this one. Confused already? Good, because Siren did that to you when you played it!

These are pencil drawings as well which were scanned and turned into black and white with a graphics software. Coloring and post-processing (dampening the colors and adding noise to the pictures) were also done with the software. Original lettering was done digitally too but I replaced it with a new hand-written text with some editing to the original script as well.

Forbidden Siren archives #1: Accidental tourist

What follows is a first in a series of PS2 horror game Forbidden Siren inspired fan comics I drew between 2004 and 2007. Knowledge of the game will open it up more but it's readable without it too. The setting is a rural Japan in a place called Arato where something very weird is going on, something that happens every 30 years. Most of the people have been turned into shibitos, living dead, and few remaining survivors try to make their way out of the place.

This comic features my own characters into the lore (though one character from the game makes a cameo) and it was summer '04 when European Championships in soccer was in action when I drew it. Kasumi Soma is a Japanese student, quick-tempered and foul-mouthed, while Milla Koivu is a Finnish kickboxer brought into Japan for reasons revealed later in these comics.

A follow-up to The Exhibition. A crazy artist? I think they prefer to be called "eccentric"!
